Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and committed Driver to transport clients and/or goods in a comfortable, safe, and timely manner.
The Driver will be responsible for arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle and planning each route based on road and traffic conditions.
Our ideal candidates are professional, punctual, have a valid driver’s license, and have a clean driving record with no traffic violations.
Ultimately, the role of the Driver is to ensure the safe and efficient transport of clients or goods to and from their destinations.
Responsibilities
Transport clients and/or goods to their destinations in a safe and timely manner
Research and plan ahead for traffic, construction, and weather delays to get clients to their destinations on time
Obey all traffic laws and regulations
Interact with clients professionally at all times
Maintain a clean and mechanically-sound vehicle at all times
Operate GPS navigation system and other apps to determine the best route
Ensure the vehicle is always fueled and ready for use
Handle minor vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks
Keep mileage and repair records up-to-date
Load and unload goods or luggage as necessary
Communicate with clients, dispatchers, or other staff members professionally to ensure smooth operations
Ensure the safety of passengers or goods
Record and report any traffic incidents (including traffic citations) or injuries to management immediately
Provide excellent customer service, including assisting passengers in entering and exiting the vehicle, and answering any inquiries they may have
Keep a log of miles driven, fuel used, and any repairs made
Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and regularly serviced
Qualifications
A valid driver’s license and at least one year of driving experience to perform the job safely
Excellent navigation skills and proficiency in using navigation applications to find delivery locations
Excellent knowledge of the area and ability to use GPS devices
Time management and organizational skills to keep track of deliveries and stay on schedule
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients
Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift heavy luggage (50lbs), packages and objects, as well as be able to load and unload them from their vehicle
Ability to follow traffic laws and drive safely
A clean driving record with no traffic violations
Ability to handle minor vehicle maintenance
High school diploma or equivalent
Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact respectfully with passengers, dispatchers and the general public and to follow directions effectively and efficiently
Strong spatial awareness and depth perception to navigate roads and park vehicles safely
Problem-solving skills to manage unexpected situations like road closures, traffic jams, or vehicle breakdowns
Customer service skills to handle passenger inquiries, complaints, or requests professionally and courteously

Work Environment: On the road. This job includes long hours of driving and may require working nights, weekends, and holidays.
Salary: Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
